Report: Mike Greene reported that the next troop meetings
will have a high adventure theme.
§
3/14 – Get to know your troop – Flags with Lagers. Patrol breakout – get phone tree ready. Scoutmaster minute.
§
3/21 – Welcome game with tennis all to welcome the new
scouts. Skill / Instruction – planning
on oath, law, Boy Scout badge. Each
patrol has a part of the badge to teach.

-- Plan on sending out a Newsletter the beginning of March.
Good Turn

The
Ramsey county forester will call to tell the best date to clean out the wood
duck houses. -- The Troop assumed a
yearly service project to clean out the 12 wood duck houses that were installed
as part of Alex Bryant’s eagle project last year. – John Moruarity called Steve W. and their
planning on April 3.

Jude Church Cleanup – Pick a weekend in May.
-- Announce to the boys to see if a boy / patrol want to lead this.

Outings / Trip Reports:
o
Wolf Patrol – Had camping outing Feb 12-14.
o
Okpik – All had a good cold weather outing.
o
Ski Outing: The second
Skiing outing had to be canceled due to conflicts with the boys taking the
merit badge. Steve will meet with the
boys to finish up on the paperwork after some upcoming troop meetings.
o
Shoot and Fest – April 15-17, Jim Greene had signups at the
last troop meeting.
o
White Water rafting – June 4, Jim Greene had signups at
the last troop meeting.

Tomahawk cleanup weekends. We need to
pick a weekend in May,
·
Tomahawk camping.
o
Jim G. will need to supply an additional $25
per scout deposit for returning scouts. This
is due in March.
o
Bullheads are doing a boundary waters outing instead
of Tomahawk this year. Need to re-view
the leadership that will be at Tomahawk.
Pancake Breakfast:
-- Brad will meet this week and
Dick will call a meeting before next week’s meeting.
Treasurer’s Report:
-- The Treasure reported that
we’re in good shape after the re-chartering.
FOS:
-- Exceeded the growth goal with ~$5000 in pledges
including the company matches, with really assisted in getting to our
goals. Thanks to all.

Eagle Projects:
n Carl Betlach completed his Eagle.

Scout plaque update:

Approved
$200 for the plaque update to get a plaque from the Vets.
Deep Star Meeting:

Set
up a meeting for March 14 after a Troop Meeting.
PLC Planning:
Webelo’s Transition:
Crossover dates on 3/20, on Sunday
afternoon on the Pine Spring Side of Kathryn Abbot Park at 6:30. Were planning on ~1/2 hour crossover with a
reception in Pirozzoli's house / garage.
Scott B. will bring past crossover ceremonies to the next troop
meeting to go over with the SPL.
New Business:
-- JLTC – Boys usually pay for their
week and then they pay for their week at camp.
-- District committee training –
Merger of the councils some discussion on the Merger of Viking / Indianhead
councils.
-- Tomahawk – Planned an Adult sub-committee meeting to be held with the Troop Meeting on May 2.
