Councilor is tied up, so boys would have to finish this out on their own

– Two outings were made.

Anderson – Dec 11-12, Shelter 3 – Cost $50 to reserve the shelter - plus
$1.50 per person to cover taxes / insurance.

Feb 19-21. Leave Friday morning –
Check in on Friday Night. Cost ~$90
per scout. – Jim reserved for 12
people, 6 cabin stay, 6 on the tundra.
Jim will hand out Okpik information at an upcoming meeting. (Two crews, one crew per six
people).

Outing: There
was some discussion about having a camping outing in January. We could also use this outing as a merit
badge outing. Possibly could camp
at Sterns camp at the Viking council, Pilipino is booked already. Possible merit badges are
communications, citizenship or personal management.

Leader training outing. (Scouts in
leadership positions).

Ski
Outing: Trollhaugen
for the ski merit badge and possible

Feb: Paul Evenson is planning a shooting
weekend.

Pancake
Breakfast:

Good helpers. Good planning
by the boys that participated.
(Mary complained that the kitchen had dirty pots – but they must have
been left by the soup because the kitchen was clean when we left. For the next Pancake Breakfast we need to
take a picture of the kitchen when were done.). An acknowledgement will be given to the
boys that helped with the planning.

Report:

in account last month. Re-charting
will be coming up, but most of that will be coming back with re-charter
fees.
FOS: Goal
this year is $3400->$3600.
Paul will be picking up the packet this week. He will check with the District FOS to
determine is it is a good idea to combine the newsletter with the FOS
letter.

Pathfinder training leadership will be $199 for participants and $99 for
trainers. The lions club may be
able to provide a scholarship for the training. Dennis will draft a letter to present
to the Lions club. The legion may
also be able to help.

Fundraiser (More discussion next
meeting):
Discussion
was made for different fundraising activities. The cub scouts have been fundraising to
help cover their camping costs.
There are different fund raisers, like delivering phone books, popcorn
sales, stuffing flyers into papers, bagging at Festival.
