b.      Four adult leaders attended Lindeke, Wiberg, Betlach, Lewis

3.      Secretary

a.       Make sure that there is a October Newsletter

b.      Planning calendar – verification from the church

c.       Steve Frost will sit down with the secretary and get the troop calendar on the church calendar -

d.      Keys for the Church – Wyeth Lewis and Steve Lindlof will work on getting keys for the troop.

4.      Outdoor Activities

a.       Trip Reports

                                                                          i.      Tomahawk and Northern Tier – debrief Steve Lindlof and Jim Green – TBD.

b.      Community Service

                                                                          i.      Cornfest Clean up – mostly cub scouts – Thanks to the boys who helped

                                                                        ii.      Mark Ashby – Fall Cleanup possibility – Steve Wiberg will talk to Mark Ashby.

c.       Tomahawk

                                                                          i.      65 merit badges done, 21 partial badges – we are short two badges – the segments (racing flag segment) were unavailable

                                                                        ii.      No one got sent home

                                                                      iii.      Every one got home safely

                                                                      iv.      Illnesses – pneumonia – flu like illness

1.      A couple of boys  - Severe exposure to deer ticks

                                                                        v.      Have payment receipts for court of honor

                                                                      vi.      Jim Green will set up Tomahawk report meeting

d.      Northern Tier

                                                                          i.      11 in group and Guide (12 is the max # including guide)

a.       $489 per person

b.      Copy of final report of costs

c.       We met our percentage Tomahawk standard 75% or better – recognition – quality unit standards

2.      Steve Wiberg – Signed up the date ($25 to $30 per canoe per day)

3.      Change from just canoe trip to canoe and camp event

                                                                          i.      Theme to get second year Webelos to camp with the troop

                                                                        ii.      Each troop will come prepared to plan a meal

                                                                      iii.      We will have a sign up for this

                                                                          i.      If don’t go now – may have to wait until next year.

h.      Future Events

                                                                          i.      Coastguard Cutter & OMNI  in Duluth – overnight $25 a head 15 people minimum

                                                                        ii.      Hiking – Merit Badge  – Jay Cooke didn’t work last weekend More dates in September and October

a.       Eagle Project Update

                                                                          i.      Working with Brad Bartlett nothing presented on paper yet

                                                                        ii.      Nick Lindeke -  Shunamann Marsh has changed, nothing on paper as yet

                                                                      iii.      A third boy has a project idea no more details available.

b.      Mike Schwarz Eagle Board of Review

                                                                          i.      Scott, Roger, Dennis – possibility of a back up or two

c.       Court of Honor 9/19/2005

                                                                          i.      Don’t know where this is going to be – Kohler Hall preferably – Steve Frost talk to Church calendar.

d.      Troop Elections - Need to emphasis to PLC what their duties are.

1.      10/3 troop elections – time commitment – the SPL and APL need 6 months for leadership.

2.      November new SPL run previous ones observe

3.      SLP will help with training – not Monday nights

7.      Training

a.       JLTC, Summer 2005

                                                                          i.      Great report back from the leadership about the candidates

b.      Wood Badge Fall 2005

c.       District Leader Training 10/8/2005 8 to 5

d.      FOS training September 8 Redeemer Lutheran Church – would like representation from every troop.
