FOS – Friends of Scouting

Thanks to all who contributed to the success of the 2007 Friends of Scouting, with your help we exceeded our growth goal for the year.  Exceeding our goal qualified the troop an “Outdoor Cooking Combo” (12” CAST IRON SKILLET embossed with the Northern Star Council logo and a PATROL COOKING GRID.  If you haven’t sent in your 2007 FOS, please send in you FOS donation by the end of March.  Contact Paul Hoff for more information.

Troop Court of Honor

A Court of Honor is a ceremony held to present Scouts with awards they have earned.  Keep working on Rank Advancements and Merit Badges this winter.  The next Troop Court of Honor will be on April 23 at 6:45 in Kohler Hall.  Come and celebrate with all scouts who earned awards this winter.

Eagle Troop Court of Honor

The rank of Eagle Scout, the BSA's highest rank, is presented in a special Court of Honor organized for just this purpose. Troop 433 will honor Tony West and Mike Greene who have earned this award at Kohler hall on Sunday afternoon, April 15th.  Start time to be determined.

Summer Camps

The Troop has reserved campsites at Many Point Scout Camp in addition to our usual Tomahawk Scout Camp.  The estimated cost of these summer camps is $225 which includes a tee shirt.  A current health form is need for all troop outings.  The troop needs to know the scout and adult interest level for each of these camps with an initial deposit of $25.  Return the attached survey and any questions to Lee Hunt @ leeghunt@comcast.net
