Troop Leadership

· Congratulations to our newly elected Senior Patrol Leader, Mike Green and his appointed assistant Dan Hoff. Also congratulations to all of the newly elected Patrol Leaders.

FOS – Friends of Scouting

· Thanks to all who contributed to the success of the 2005 Friends of Scouting, with your help we exceeded our growth goal for the year.

Welcome new T433 Scouts

· The bridging ceremony for the Webelos II's will be held on Sunday March 20th, at 6:30pm. The bridging ceremony will be held in Pine Springs on a bridge that was built as an Eagle scout project several years ago. The trail is off Warner and 62nd. You can park along Warner Ave.

Training, Sat., April 9

· There are two training opportunities:

o Manitou District Training, April 9, 8am-4pm. @ St. Pius X Catholic Church, WBL

o Junior Leader College, April 9, 8am-4:15pm @ St. Thomas Academy, Mendota Heights

Looking for some Community Service Time

· Wood Duck House Cleanup – April 3, (lead by the Ligar Patrol)

· St Jude Cleanup – on a weekend in May. We’re looking for a Scout / Patrol to lead this Community Service.

Troop 433 Pancake Breakfast on May 1.

· Join us for the annual Troop 433 pancake breakfast. This is the troop’s only fundraiser so every scout needs to assist in some way.

Spring Troop Court of Honor

· Keep working on Rank Advancements and Merit Badges. The spring Troop Court of Honor is on May 16.

Tomahawk 2005

· Mark your calendars for Tomahawk 2005 on August 6 – 13.

· Reserved your spot at Tomahawk with a $25 deposit by filling out the attached form and returning it to Jim Greene (either by mail or at a Troop Meeting).
