SCOUTS AND PARENTS
Dues for 2004 are $10 plus
$10 for Boys Life. Any scout or adult
who wishes to remain registered must return the enclosed form and dues to
Steve Lindlof by January 31. Scouter-ships are available if the fee is a
hardship for you. Contact Steve

Elections for troop
leadership positions and Order of the Arrow will be held March 1. Please come
prepared to run for a position if you are interested and to vote
wisely.
Merit Badge Fair
Engineering, Coin
Collecting, Citizenship in the Nation, Computers, Art, Drafting, Communications,
and many more merit badges will be offered Merit Badge Saturday, February 14, at
St. Pius in White Bear Lake. The $8 fee includes lunch. Contact Dennis Lindeke,
426-9415. Classes fill fast, so sign up now!

Andy Leibel passed his Eagle
Board of Review in December with flying colors. Congratulations to Troop 433’s
newest Eagle Scout.
Court of Honor
The next Court of Honor will
be Monday, Jan. 19, at 6:45. Parents are encouraged to attend. If you need a scoutmaster conference or
board of review for rank advancement or have a completed merit badge card to
turn in, contact Bob Leibel (429-6313) right away.
A big thanks to all families
who’ve already returned their pledge cards. Troop 433 is two-thirds of the way
to our goal! Please return your
cards to Paul Hoff by January 25.
Scout Sabbath is Feb. 7.
Please wear your uniform to church that day. Scouts may have an chance to
participate in services. Contact Wyeth Lewis (426-4772) if you’re
interested.

December Outing/Storage
Report
The new storage facility in
the Ark garage worked great for the December outing to Fred C. Andersen. Thanks
to Bryan Greene and others who
helped design, build, and install it.
An adult counselor is needed
for fitness merit badge. Contact Bob Leibel, 429-6303.
Scouts are needed to serve
as den chiefs for Webelos dens. This is a great chance to gain leadership and
help younger scouts, too. Contact Steve Wiberg (429-7914) to
volunteer.
Steve Wiberg will offer snow
sports merit badge at Trollhaugen January 18 and February 1. Sign up at the
troop meeting or call Steve at 429-7914.
The troop needs an adult
familiar with Kramer-Berg American Legion to put together a proposal for funding
scholarships for Junior Leadership Training Camp. Contact Steve Wiberg,
429-7914, if you can help.
