Troop 433 Patrol Outing Reimbursement Policy / Form

 

Mission Statement:  The patrol outing reimbursement program is set up by Troop 433 leadership to promote patrol overnight outings.

 

Guidelines:

Troop 433 will reimburse scout patrols for one overnight outing to encourage boy run leadership and planning.  The Troop will reimburse up to $20 per scout when at least 2/3’s of the patrol participates or up to $30 per scout when 100% of the patrol participates (as listed by the patrol roster).

 

Troop or District organized outings or events are not considered for the Troop 433 Patrol Outing Reimbursement.

 

  1. The Patrol Outing Reimbursement Program will run from 6/1/2007 to 6/1/2008.
  2. At least 2/3 of the Patrol must be present at the Patrol Outing.
  3. The patrol outing must follow all of the BSA policies for outings in two deep leadership.
  4. The form below must be filled out and approved by a registered adult leader of Troop 433 before the Patrol outing.
  5. When the outing has been approved, a BSA Tour Permit must be completed and forwarded to the Troop Camping Coordinator (Lee Hunt) at a minimum 1 week before the scheduled outing.
  6. Aspects of the patrol outing including the planning process will be discussed in the scout’s boards of review.
